Gurpreet Singh :- The top court’s order facilitates the release of both the accused from the custody as the trial in the high-profile murder case is underway.
The case relates to the killing of the singer, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu well known as Sidhu Moosewala, in Punjab’s Mansa district in May 2022.
Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants on May 29, 2022, a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover. The attack rattled the entire music industry triggering rigorous investigation by Punjab Police.
