Stray Dog Attack in Kanpur Leaves BBA Student Critically Injured

National Times Bureau :- Panic gripped a residential locality in Kanpur after a vicious attack by a pack of stray dogs left a young BBA student severely injured. The incident occurred late Monday evening when the 20-year-old woman was returning home from her coaching classes.

Eyewitnesses reported that a group of stray dogs suddenly charged at her, biting her multiple times before locals intervened to rescue her. She sustained deep wounds on her legs and arms and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition is said to be critical but stable.

Residents of the area have expressed anger over the growing menace of stray dogs, blaming civic authorities for their failure to implement effective measures despite repeated complaints. They have demanded immediate action to control the stray population and prevent similar attacks in the future.

Municipal officials said that a team has been dispatched to capture the dogs involved and that the matter is being investigated.
