Chandigarh, August 31 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the state government and administration are fully alert to tackle challenges arising from the monsoon season and are prepared for every situation to ensure the safety of citizens. He appealed to the public to exercise caution, particularly by avoiding travel to hilly areas.
The CM was addressing media persons at Dronacharya Sports Stadium in Kurukshetra, where he also played volleyball with athletes.
Taking on the opposition, Saini said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised India’s honor globally and worked for the welfare of the poor, which the opposition cannot digest. He criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Bihar, calling them inappropriate and demanding an apology to the nation.
Saini urged the opposition to showcase its own developmental work during its tenure instead of questioning the EVMs. He emphasized that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed unprecedented development over the last 11 years, gaining global recognition.
Responding to queries, the CM said that while war inevitably leads to loss of life and property, India’s leadership is strong enough to handle any situation. He highlighted India’s improving GDP and rapid progress in infrastructure, including highways, railways, and universities.
