National Times Bureau :- Amid the devastating floods in Punjab, which have left many villages struggling to recover, Sri Akal Takht Sahib has launched a major initiative to support the victims. On Thursday, Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj inaugurated a dedicated website, SarkareKhalsa.org, aimed at providing direct assistance to flood-affected individuals and families.
Through this platform, anyone in need of essential supplies or other help can contact authorities directly. Likewise, individuals or organizations willing to contribute donations can do so through the website. Giani Gargajj explained that the website’s key purpose is to bridge the gap between those who continue to face shortages and the large amounts of relief materials available elsewhere, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.
The website will be regularly updated to document every case in detail, guaranteeing transparency and enabling timely aid delivery. Giani Gargajj emphasized that the platform will strengthen trust between authorities, donors, and affected families while urging people to remain cautious against any potential misuse.
Despite relief efforts by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and other social organizations, many families in flood-hit areas are still struggling to rebuild their lives. The launch of this digital platform is expected to enhance the efficiency of relief distribution and ensure that support reaches the right beneficiaries promptly.
Giani Gargajj expressed hope that the initiative would not only help flood victims receive aid quickly but also ensure that donors’ contributions are effectively utilized for the intended recipients.
