National Times Bureau :- South Indian superstar Allu Arjun is mourning the loss of his grandmother, Allu Kanakartanamma, who passed away at the age of 94 late last night. She was the wife of veteran Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah. Family sources confirmed that she had been battling age-related ailments and breathed her last around 1:45 AM.
Her passing has left the Allu family in deep grief, and several celebrities from the Telugu film industry are visiting their residence to pay their respects. The final rites will be performed today in Kokapet.
At the time of her demise, Allu Arjun was in Mumbai shooting for director Atlee’s upcoming film, but he immediately rushed to Hyderabad upon receiving the news. Actor Ram Charan also cancelled the shoot of his film “Peddhi” to stand with the family in this difficult time.
