Prominent community figures who actively participated and shared insights on community solidarity included Advocate A.J. Singh, Sardar Mavik Singh, Sardar Devendra Singh Rajpal, Sardar Upkar Singh, Sardar Balveer Singh, Bobby Sandhu, Sardar Hardev Singh, and Sardar Kamaljit Singh. The presence of Gyani Fateh Singh and office-bearers from Gurdwara Sahib Thakurdwara further strengthened the dialogue regarding organisational unity. The committee also expressed its profound gratitude to Lucknow-based representatives Sardar Charanjit Singh Hora and Sardar Harpreet Singh for their dedicated attendance.
Addressing the congregation, Sardar Parvinder Singh Advocate emphasised the necessity for all gurdwaras, Sikh bodies, and social organisations across Uttar Pradesh to unite under a single umbrella to safeguard community rights, honour, and future advancement. He commended Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his proactive governance, noting that the state administration has taken unprecedented steps to accord respect to the Sikh community and familiarise the younger generation with its history.
According to the committee president, the state initialised the observance of Sahibzada Diwas following their formal submission, an initiative that Prime Minister Narendra Modi subsequently elevated nationwide as Veer Baal Diwas. Furthermore, these collaborative efforts resulted in the incorporation of the histories of Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Tegh Bahadur, Guru Gobind Singh, and the four Sahibzadas into the educational curriculum for grades eight, nine, and ten across Uttar Pradesh.
The coordination committee noted that the provincial government has also approved funding for the renovation and infrastructure development of various historical gurdwaras, addressing long-standing community concerns. Sardar Parvinder Singh expressed special appreciation to the senior vice-president of the committee, Sardar Gurpreet Singh Dua, for organising the successful convention, confirming that Moradabad will be designated as the central hub for the organisation’s operations in Western Uttar Pradesh. Local residents and regional bodies were encouraged to channel their feedback, suggestions, and administrative issues through Dua to ensure effective representation before state authorities.
