Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat; Police Register Case After Bomb Warning

Mumbai (National Times): Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again become the target of a serious threat. A recent message sent to the WhatsApp number of Mumbai’s Transport Department in Worli warned of a plot to infiltrate Khan’s residence and detonate a bomb in his vehicle. Authorities swiftly responded, with the Worli Police registering a case and initiating an investigation.

This isn’t the first time the actor has faced such danger. Over the past few years, threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have surfaced, often connected to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, which holds religious significance for the Bishnoi community.

In 2024 alone, the actor was issued multiple threats, including one demanding a Rs 5 crore payment or a public apology at a temple. Another message later that year demanded Rs 2 crore in ransom. Several attempts have also been made to breach security at his Panvel farmhouse, including incidents involving fake IDs.

Speaking recently, Khan said, “God decides how long we live. Whatever is written in my destiny, that’s how long I’ll be around.” He also revealed that due to heightened risks, his routine is limited strictly to commuting between his home and film sets.
