Residents of Ward 23 Voice Long-Standing Civic Concerns in Meeting with MP Manish Tewari

Chandigarh (Rajeev Sharma): The Joint Coordination Committee of Residents Welfare Association of Ward 23, covering Sectors 34, 35, and 43, held a significant meeting to address recurring civic issues troubling the residents. Ward 23 Councillor Ms. Premlata extended a warm welcome to Honourable Member of Parliament Shri Manish Tewari, who joined the gathering to listen to public grievances and engage in constructive dialogue.
Vikram Chopra, President of Sector 43-A and Rajesh Rai President of sec-43-B of the Welfare Associations, told National Times, “These problems have persisted for years without resolution. Today’s discussion was comprehensive, and we are hopeful after receiving positive assurances from both the Councillor and MP.”

Residents raised multiple concerns, including poor road conditions, inadequate sanitation, and delayed infrastructure projects. The leadership assured attendees that prompt action would be taken and that coordination with relevant authorities is already underway. The meeting ended on a hopeful note, with a renewed commitment to improving living conditions in Ward 23.
