Rahul Gandhi Welcomed in Chandigarh, Targets BJP-RSS and Modi Government Ahead of Gujarat Visit

Chandigarh (Naval Kishore): Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi received a warm welcome at Chandigarh Airport from Congress party paradesh Treasurer Vikram Chopra and other Congress party members of Chandigarh , during his transit from Himachal Pradesh to Gujarat.

During his brief interaction with party workers and leaders, Rahul Gandhi made strong political remarks, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unlikely to attend Parliament, while emphasizing his own visit to Gujarat to connect directly with tribal communities.
Rahul Gandhi also launched a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the use of the term “Vanvasi” for tribal populations. He criticized the terminology, arguing that it undermines the identity and rights of indigenous communities.

In addition, the Congress leader targeted Prime Minister Modi over India’s trade relations with the United States, raising concerns about the implications of recent agreements and their impact on the country’s economic and strategic interests. Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Gujarat is expected to focus on engaging with tribal groups and addressing key socio-political issues, as the Congress intensifies its outreach efforts in the region. The brief but politically charged stopover at Chandigarh Airport highlighted the party’s ongoing efforts to mobilize support and sharpen its stance against the ruling government on multiple national issues.
