Chandigarh (Rajeev Sharma): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has announced the appointment of Rachna Jindal as the new Northern Region Director.
Based at the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh, Jindal will oversee CII operations across key states of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. With nearly two decades of extensive experience within CII, having joined the organisation in 2006, Jindal brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.
Jindal has been instrumental in organising prominent trade exhibitions, including Auto Expo, IMME, and IREE, as well as international showcases such as Enterprise India, aimed at boosting India’s global trade. Previously, she led a strategic partnership with NITI Aayog focused on digitally enabling Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), a key initiative for enhancing competitiveness and productivity in the sector.
