National Times Bureau :- Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh has reportedly received another threatening call from a foreign number, days after he actively visited flood-affected areas to provide relief. The singer had personally distributed ration and essential supplies to the victims and had pledged financial support of Rs 5 crore along with 100 tractors to assist affected families.
The latest threat comes amid growing concern for Aulakh’s safety, though the singer has not yet publicly commented on the incident. Following the call, the Mataur police in Mohali registered a case, and authorities have taken steps to investigate.
During the previous week, Aulakh had also received a similar threat from a foreign number warning of harm to him and his family. Police action at the time included questioning a resident from a nearby village, who had arrived from Italy about a month ago, as part of the investigation into the threatening calls.
Officials are currently probing the source of the threats and determining whether any organized group is behind the intimidation. Meanwhile, fans and supporters have expressed concern and solidarity with the singer during this tense period.
