Chandigarh, July 15, 2025: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Tuesday released a book titled “Sachkhand Punjab: The Divine Dawn of a Drugs-Free Sacred Land,” authored by Raj Malhotra. The event was held in the presence of MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra and the author himself.
The book draws inspiration from Gurbani, emphasizing that the path shown by Guru Sahib Ji should guide people toward righteousness and spiritual fulfillment. Speaking at the release, Sandhwan highlighted that the work envisions a Punjab where divinity and humanity coexist in harmony, free from the grip of drugs.
“With the sweetness of ragas, we should seat God in our hearts. Instead of drugs, we need the true intoxication of the Name,” said Sandhwan, underscoring the message of spiritual devotion as an antidote to substance abuse.
The book’s central theme encourages people to connect with their faith and renounce drugs, aligning with the Punjab government’s vision of creating a Rangla Punjab a vibrant and progressive state.
Raj Malhotra expressed hope that the book would inspire people to embrace the teachings of Guru Sahib and contribute to building a drug-free society.
