Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Punjab Vidhan Sabha kicked off a special session on Monday with a heartfelt tribute to the Sahibzaade, the young sons of Guru Gobind Singh, whose courage and sacrifice hold a profound place in Sikh history. Lawmakers from all parties joined in commemorating their legacy, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings.
As the session commenced, the House observed a moment of silence to honour Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, recognising their unwavering faith and martyrdom at a tender age. The gesture underscored the Assembly’s respect for the values of bravery, righteousness, and devotion that the Sahibzaade embody.
During the session, several legislators spoke about the lasting significance of their sacrifice, noting that it continues to inspire not just the people of Punjab but generations across India. Many highlighted the Sahibzaade’s example as a guiding principle, especially in times of moral and social challenges.
