Punjab Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan Donates One Month’s Salary and ₹10 Lakh for Flood Relief

Chandigarh, August 28, 2025: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, associated with welfare organizations such as Bhai Ghaniya Cancer Prevention Service Society and Good Morning Welfare Club, Kotkapura, has announced the donation of his one-month salary to aid the flood-affected victims of Punjab.

In addition, Speaker Sandhwan has personally contributed ₹10 lakh from his own funds along with his monthly salary towards relief operations. He emphasized that the teachings of the Gurus inspire everyone to stand with people during difficult times. He further assured that the Punjab government will leave no stone unturned in reaching out to flood victims across the state and providing necessary assistance.

Sandhwan highlighted that the floods have caused extensive damage to human lives, livestock, crops, and vegetation. Appealing to people who value humanity, he urged them to contribute generously for relief efforts. He requested donations of ration, medicines, drinking water, flour bags, pulses, and fodder for animals before September 2.
