Tarn Taran (Punjab), September 30, 2025: Punjab Cabinet Ministers Hardeep Singh Mundian and Laljit Singh Bhullar today inaugurated the “Mera Ghar, Mera Maan” scheme from Tarn Taran district, distributing property cards to residents of 11 villages in the constituency. The scheme grants ownership rights to properties located within Lal Lakir areas, long considered outside the formal property system.
The launch event was attended by Constituency In-charge Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajdeep Singh Brar, SDM Tarn Taran Gurmeet Singh, and District Revenue Officer Gurpreet Singh Dhillon.
Calling the initiative “historic,” Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said the campaign would bring a revolutionary change across Punjab. He announced that the scheme is being implemented in mission mode and will cover the entire state by December 2026. “This card will act as a government-certified digital record of ownership. It will not only secure inheritance rights but also enable beneficiaries to access bank loans with ease,” he said, adding that the move would end disputes and make property transactions transparent.
Mundian emphasized that the scheme reflects Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s commitment to empowering citizens. “This property card is like an Aadhaar for land—it guarantees ownership for generations to come,” he stated.
Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar highlighted that the Mann government has been fulfilling its promises by launching various welfare schemes and development projects. He said “Mera Ghar, Mera Maan” will directly benefit thousands of families across the state, ensuring dignity and security for citizens.
Senior AAP leader Harmeet Singh Sandhu also congratulated the villagers who received ownership rights under the scheme and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive growth.
