National Times Bureau :- Punjab Congress has started early preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections. Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President and Ludhiana MP Raja Warring revealed that senior leaders recently held a crucial meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and other top leadership.
Following the meeting, Warring announced that new district presidents will soon be appointed across the state. “This was an important meeting, and the appointments will be made without any bias,” he said.
Currently, the term for district presidents is three years. The previous appointments were made on November 19, 2022, but the party has decided to begin the process of fresh appointments ahead of schedule to strengthen its organization before the upcoming elections.
