Chandigarh, September 11, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Thursday after showing steady improvement in his health condition, doctors confirmed.
Mann had been admitted on September 5 following severe exhaustion and a drop in heart rate. Hospital officials said his vitals had stabilised and test reports indicated continuous recovery before they allowed him to leave.
Even during his stay at the hospital, Mann did not detach himself from state affairs. He chaired virtual meetings, including a Cabinet session through video conferencing, to monitor flood relief operations and guide senior officials on rescue measures. His engagement from the hospital ensured that administrative decisions were not delayed despite his medical condition.
Doctors cleared him for discharge once his health stabilised, though officials have not specified when he will return fully to his regular schedule.
