Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh) :- Bhagwant Singh Maan was admitted to Fortis Hospital after experiencing discomfort due to ill health, officials said. He was brought to the Mohali-based medical facility where a team of doctors conducted a detailed examination along with necessary diagnostic tests.
According to the medical bulletin issued by the hospital, all test results have returned normal and no serious medical condition has been detected. Doctors indicated that the Chief Minister had been feeling weak due to fatigue caused by an intensive work schedule. He has been kept under observation as a precautionary measure.
Senior state officials, including Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav and DGP (Law and Order) Arpit Shukla, visited the hospital to enquire about his health condition. The Chief Secretary of Punjab also reviewed the situation with the attending medical team.
Meanwhile, uncertainty remains over whether Mann will attend a scheduled public rally in Moga, as no official statement has yet been issued regarding his participation.
