Mississauga (National Times): The Punjabi-Canadian community in Ontario is reeling with shock after the cold-blooded assassination of Harjeet Singh Dhadda, a prominent Sikh businessman, outside his office near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way, in the vicinity of Dixon and Derry Roads.

According to Peel Regional Police, the fatal shooting occurred on Wednesday. While police have confirmed the homicide, they have not officially released the identity of the deceased. However, sources have confirmed that the victim was Harjeet Singh Dhadda, a respected figure within the Sikh community and a known member of the Canadian Sikh Gurdwara Committee.

Dhadda, originally from Bazpur, Uttarakhand, India, was a long-time resident of Ontario and known for running a trucking safety and compliance business in Mississauga. Friends and acquaintances describe him as “a man of integrity who helped countless newcomers and small businesses in the transport sector.”
