Rohtak (Balwinder Singh): Preparations are underway for the cremation of ASI Sandeep, whose body will be laid to rest in his native village of Julana later today. The post-mortem is expected to be completed in the morning, following which the funeral will take place around 12 PM, as confirmed by a family member.
Speaking on behalf of the grieving family, Satyawan Lathar said, “The family has agreed to the post-mortem. His last rites will be held this afternoon. We have not made any requests to the government.”
The loss has sent ripples through the local community, coming just a day after the cremation of Y Puran Kumar, who was also caught in the same unfortunate episode. His funeral was held yesterday, drawing somber attendance from residents and officials alike.
While the investigation continues, both families have chosen a quiet and dignified farewell for their loved ones. The atmosphere in Julana remains heavy with sorrow as the community prepares to bid its final goodbye.
