Chandigarh, July 25 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that all arrangements for a major event on the implementation of three new criminal laws in the state have been finalized.
Speaking to the media at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi after meeting Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, CM Saini said that he held extensive discussions on several important issues, including the Kishau Dam project. He also briefed the Union Minister about the progress of various welfare schemes being run in the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked with great speed to strengthen and make India’s economy self-reliant. Under his leadership, India’s global economic ranking has improved from 11th to 4th place. Today, India stands strong and empowered on the global stage.
When asked about the CET (Common Eligibility Test), Saini informed reporters that all necessary preparations have been made. On July 26 and 27, lakhs of candidates are expected to appear for the exam. He assured that the administration has issued appropriate instructions to ensure that youth face no inconvenience.
He further announced that recruitment in Haryana Police will commence soon, and directions have already been issued to complete the preparatory work.
Criticizing the opposition, Saini remarked that they have no valid issues to raise. Prime Minister Modi has been consistently working for the holistic development of the poor, farmers, villages, and cities over the past 11 years, improving the ease and strength of life for every citizen. He added that the opposition is unable to digest India’s rapid development.
CM Saini also shared that during the current central government’s tenure, nearly 4 crore poor and needy families have been provided housing. Under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers receive ₹6,000 annually, and lakhs of farmers have already benefited from 19 installments. Through such schemes, nearly 25 crore Indians have risen above the poverty line.
Referring to his recent visit to Bihar, the Chief Minister shared that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, each panchayat in Bihar has seen the construction of 700 to 900 houses for the poor. Across the country, free ration is being provided monthly to impoverished families. He stated that PM Modi is the only leader who genuinely cares for the poor.
Taking a dig at the Aam Aadmi Party, CM Saini said the party had worsened the situation in Delhi, causing numerous hardships for the people. He added that the Haryana government is working jointly with the Delhi government on several key projects, including the cleaning of the Yamuna River.
