“Canada Day is more than a celebration of 158 years of Confederation – it’s a reminder of who we are, where we come from, the people who came before us and the values that define us,” Premier Smith stated.
Highlighting the spirit of Albertans, Smith said the province stands out for its commitment to community, fairness, resilience, and freedom. “Here in Alberta, those values run deep. We take care of each other, stand up for what is right and never back down from a challenge,” she said. “Together we build strong communities where people from all backgrounds can thrive.”
