Chandigarh, January 4 — Haryana’s Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa on Saturday said that the Prajapati community is known for its hard work and honesty, adding that members of the community are skilled by nature. He said the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is implementing welfare-oriented policies for all sections of society, guided by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s principle of Antyodaya to ensure that government schemes reach the last person standing in the queue.
The minister was addressing a public gathering after inaugurating the newly constructed grand entrance gate of the Prajapati Community Hall at Bawani Khera in Bhiwani district. On the occasion, he announced a financial contribution of ₹11 lakh for the construction of the community hall. He said that community buildings are not meant for a single caste or group but serve the entire society. Dharamshalas, he added, are shared spaces that provide shelter to anyone in need.
Highlighting the government’s focus on essential services, Gangwa said efforts are being made across the state to strengthen the drinking water supply system to ensure clean and adequate potable water for every household. Old water pipelines are being replaced, while new waterworks and storage tanks are being constructed as per requirement. He also said that officials have been directed to ensure prompt redressal of public complaints related to drinking water supply.
