PM Modi’s Praise for Panipat’s Textile Industry Fills Haryana with Pride: Dr. Arvind Sharma

Chandigarh, March 30, 2025 – Haryana’s Cooperatives, Prisons, Heritage, and Tourism Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma, joined villagers at booth number 136 in Juan village, Gohana Assembly, to listen to the 120th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme.

Extending New Year greetings to the villagers, Dr. Sharma said the Prime Minister’s address always brings fresh perspectives and inspires people, especially the youth, to progress in life. He emphasized that each episode of Mann Ki Baat offers valuable lessons that motivate citizens across the country.

Dr. Sharma highlighted that during the programme, PM Modi praised Panipat’s industrialists for efficiently utilizing waste cloth from the textile sector. He called this recognition a proud moment for Haryana, noting that the state’s hardworking people frequently receive mention in the Prime Minister’s addresses.

Encouraging youth engagement, Dr. Sharma urged children to use their summer vacations productively by participating in the Vibrant Village Programme, which provides exposure to border villages. He also stressed the importance of spreading awareness about constitutional values by taking part in Ambedkar Jayanti’s Padyatra.

He suggested that Haryana’s women should follow PM Modi’s advice to Telangana’s women by exploring food production using flowers. Such initiatives, he noted, contribute to innovation and national development.

Dr. Sharma reaffirmed that every citizen is committed to realizing PM Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. Expressing confidence in collective efforts, he urged people to focus on water conservation and sustainable development.
