Gandhinagar, May 27, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a vibrant roadshow in Gandhinagar on Tuesday, drawing massive crowds on the second day of his Gujarat tour. Citizens lined the streets waving the national flag, and folk artists welcomed him with energetic garba performances. The route was adorned with posters praising PM Modi’s leadership and the success of Operation Sindoor.
Waving to the cheering public, the Prime Minister accepted greetings along the route. Later in the day, he is scheduled to participate in the 20th anniversary celebrations of Gujarat’s Urban Growth Story and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects.
On Monday, PM Modi visited the border district of Kachchh for the first time since the launch of Operation Sindoor. Addressing a massive gathering in Bhuj, the Prime Minister inaugurated 18 projects worth Rs 2,326 crore and laid the foundation stones for 15 more worth Rs 51,088 crore, bringing over Rs 53,400 crore in development initiatives to Gujarat.
Speaking to the crowd at Bhuj’s Time Square ground, PM Modi declared, “The Indian tricolour must never be allowed to bow,” evoking patriotic fervor with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” Greeting locals in their native dialect, he honored Kachchh’s revolutionary legacy through Shyamji Krishna Varma and paid homage to Maa Ashapura, attributing Gujarat’s progress to her blessings.
Reflecting on his personal bond with the region, the Prime Minister recalled how Kachchh’s resilience has always inspired him. He noted the historic transformation brought by the arrival of Narmada River water, comparing the moment to a Diwali celebration for a region once plagued by scarcity.
