National Times Bureau :- A shocking incident was reported in Patiala where a worker at the Kohli Dhaba, located opposite Polo Ground on Lower Mall Road, was brutally murdered late Friday night with sharp-edged weapons.
According to police officials, the dispute reportedly broke out over a food bill, following which the accused attacked the worker and fled the scene. Upon receiving information, SHO Jaspreet Singh Kahlo of Kotwali Police Station and SHO Gurpinder Singh of Sabzi Mandi Police Station reached the spot with their teams.
The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to identify and arrest the accused involved in the crime.
