Pariksha Pe Charcha Session Two: PM Modi Calls for Digital Balance, Clear Thinking and Self-Discipline

New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday continued his dialogue with students as part of the ongoing Pariksha Pe Charcha series, using the platform to address concerns that extend well beyond examinations and classrooms.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister spoke about the growing influence of technology in students’ lives, advising them to remain mindful users rather than passive dependents. He encouraged young learners to ensure that digital tools serve their goals instead of controlling their time, attention and thinking.

Highlighting the role of discipline in shaping success, PM Modi said that enthusiasm and inspiration lose their value if they are not backed by structured effort. He underlined that steady routines, focus and self-regulation are essential for turning ideas into meaningful outcomes.

The Prime Minister also shared his views on leadership, explaining that the ability to communicate thoughts effectively is a fundamental trait of any leader. According to him, leadership begins with clarity — the capacity to convey one’s ideas convincingly, even to a small audience.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is designed as an interactive initiative where students, parents and educators engage directly with the Prime Minister on topics such as exam stress, learning approaches and overall personal development. The programme aims to encourage confidence, balance and a positive mindset among students as they prepare for academic challenges.
