Gurpreet Singh :- Panic gripped Ludhiana Railway Station on Friday morning after a powerful explosion was reported near the washroom area of the station premises around 9 am.
The incident occurred while the Katra Special train was stationed at the platform and a large number of passengers were present at the railway station. The loud blast triggered fear and confusion among commuters, prompting an immediate security response.
Upon receiving information about the incident, personnel of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and local police rushed to the spot and secured the area. Security agencies have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause and nature of the explosion.
Officials have not yet disclosed any details regarding the source of the blast. Authorities said forensic and security teams are examining the site, and further information is expected after the preliminary investigation is completed.
