Pahalgam Horror: “Go Tell This to Modi,” Killer Told Us Before Shooting, Alleges Victim’s Wife

Pahalgam, April 22, 2025: A vacation in Pahalgam turned into a horror story for a Shivamogga-based couple when militants opened fire at Baisaran meadow in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. The attack killed at least 26 people, including two foreigners and two locals. One of the victims was Pallavi’s husband, who was shot at close range while they were eating bhelpuri during their trip.

According to Pallavi, the attacker fired a bullet into her husband’s chest and chillingly said, “Go tell this to Modi,” before fleeing the scene. She believes the act was a targeted attack on Hindus and has appealed to the government to airlift her husband’s body back to Karnataka.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and directed Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit the area. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is set to take over the probe. Officials are treating the incident as a terror attack intended to spread fear among tourists and disrupt peace in the region.
