National Times Media Launches Global Fundraising Drive for Punjab Flood Relief

Toronto/Mohali (Rajeev/Gurpreet): National Times Media has launched a global fundraising initiative to support victims of the devastating floods in Punjab, India. The natural disaster has displaced thousands, submerged homes, and destroyed livelihoods across the region.

The fundraising drive will run from September 20 to September 27, 2025, mobilizing communities in both Canada and India to contribute toward urgent relief efforts. Donations will be directed to the Chief Minister’s Rangla Punjab Fund – Mission Chardi Kala.

With deep ties in both countries, National Times Media has always stood with communities in times of crisis. Through this campaign, the organization seeks to raise funds to provide critical support to families affected by the floods.

National Times Media’s leadership emphasized the importance of unity and stated  “In difficult times, it is our responsibility to come together as a global community and extend support to those in need. Punjab has given so much to the world, and now is the time to give back.”

The initiative will include digital campaigns across the media group’s 20 platforms, community events, and partnerships with local organizations in Canada and India to ensure timely relief reaches those who need it most.
Every contribution big or small will bring hope and relief to families struggling in the aftermath of the floods.
