Modern Sports Stadium to be Built in Ladwa: Chief Minister

Chandigarh, March 30 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that an advanced sports stadium will be constructed in Dhanaura Jattan village, Ladwa constituency, Kurukshetra district, to train national and international-level athletes. Additionally, Rs 20 crore will be allocated under the CSR initiative for developing sports grounds in Dhanaura Jattan, Khaira, and Beed Kalwa villages.

The Chief Minister made these announcements during a review meeting with officials in Ladwa regarding developmental projects. He directed authorities to expedite the construction of the modern sports stadium and complete all formalities swiftly. He also approved the construction of community centers in Ramsharan Majra and Beed Mathana villages. Furthermore, park-cum-gym facilities in Beed Mathana, Beed Bartoli, Jogimajra, and Mehra villages are scheduled to be completed by June 2025. He ordered the prompt initiation of 15 pending development projects, including road repairs, boundary walls, community centers, drainage systems, public restrooms, and Ambedkar Bhavans.

Chief Minister Saini also instructed officials to resolve pending land record cases in tehsils and ensure citizens’ grievances are addressed promptly. He emphasized that no complaints of inefficiency should arise from Kurukshetra district’s offices. Any official found negligent will face strict action. He further directed the Deputy Commissioner to ensure seamless wheat procurement in mandis, ensuring laborers, farmers, and traders face no difficulties. Additionally, he ordered the Marketing Board and Public Works Department to complete road repairs and construction before the monsoon season.

Orders Issued to Fill Vacant Government Posts in Kurukshetra

The Chief Minister directed the immediate filling of vacant positions for BDPOs, executive engineers in the electricity department, and medical staff in Pipli, Pehowa, Shahabad, and Ladwa. He instructed the health department to provide dialysis facilities for kidney patients at Ladwa Hospital and announced that a First Referral Unit (FRU) with specialist doctors would be established soon. A dedicated gynecologist will also be appointed in Ladwa. If any doctors are on long-term leave or deputation, their positions should be officially vacated and replacements hired immediately. He assured that there would be no shortage of doctors in the district and confirmed plans for a new 100-bed hospital in Ladwa.

In response to over 20 reported cancer cases in Ban village, the Chief Minister ordered water quality tests and the organization of special health camps for villagers.
