Dera Bassi, February 12 – On the auspicious occasion of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji’s Parkash Purab, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa visited multiple Gurdwaras across the region to pay his respects and offered prayers for peace and prosperity. He extended warm greetings to the Sangat (devotees) and urged everyone to follow the teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji, which emphasize equality, love, and truthfulness.
MLA Randhawa’s Spiritual Journey Across Gurdwaras
Randhawa paid obeisance at Gurdwaras in Bakarpur, Dera Jagadhri, Dhanoni, Mohammadpur, Janetpur, Pahari Gate (Dera Bassi), Samgoli, Kheri Jattan, Jandali, Tarark, Dharmgarh, Sadhanpur, Lalru, Baltana, and Zirakpur, among others.
During his visits, he listened to Kirtan (devotional hymns), participated in Satsang (spiritual discourse), and performed seva (voluntary service) at Guru Ka Langar (community kitchen). Addressing the devotees, he emphasized that Guru Ravidas Ji’s Bani (spiritual teachings) guides humanity toward love, unity, and justice.
A Call for Unity and Social Harmony
MLA Randhawa appealed for communal harmony and brotherhood, stating,
“Guru Ravidas Ji always preached selfless service, truth, and equality without discrimination. We must incorporate his teachings into our lives to create an ideal society.”
The Gurdwaras hosted grand celebrations, including Kirtan, Satsang, and Langar, drawing a large number of devotees who sought Guru Ji’s blessings.
