Minister Ranbir Gangwa Encourages Artists Participating in National Painting Workshop

Chandigarh, December 14 — Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa on Saturday attended the national painting workshop organised under the Surabhi Art Festival in Hisar, where he interacted with artists from across the country and lauded their creative efforts.

During the visit, the minister closely observed a wide range of paintings created by participating artists on diverse themes. He appreciated the depth, creativity and emotional expression reflected in the artworks and encouraged the artists to continue refining their talent with dedication.

Speaking on the occasion, Gangwa said art and culture form the identity of society, and such platforms play a crucial role in providing young and emerging artists with opportunities to showcase their abilities. He stressed that consistent practice, discipline and commitment are essential to achieving excellence in the field of art.

Describing art as a mirror of society, the minister said artists give life to social emotions, cultural values and ideas through colours and brushes. He noted that painting workshops like these help nurture confidence among young artists while also enhancing their skills and creative outlook.

Gangwa further said that even in the digital age, the relevance of painting remains undiminished, as art has the power to inspire positive change in society. He urged participants to pursue their artistic journey with perseverance and passion, and to contribute to bringing recognition to the state and the nation through their work.

Senior artists, art enthusiasts, participating painters and other distinguished guests were present during the event.
