55 units of blood collected in Zirakpur
Zirakpur, November 24, 2025: To shortage of blood in hospitals due to dengue, Mukesh Chauhan, Managing Director of Media Mantraa PR & Advertising, and Monica Kamboj, a maurvi Astro Vastu by, organized a blood donation camp in front of the Metro Store in Zirakpur in memory of their mother, the late Mrs. Sunita Devi. The blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with the Vishvas Foundation Panchkula, HDFC Bank, and the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch, Mohali. The camp began at 10:30 am and continued until 4 pm. Rishi Shashwat Vishvas, Pawan Garg, Rakesh Garg, Sandeep Parmar, Dr. Prem Nath Bansal, Monica Kamboj, Anika and Dr. Kartik Aggarwal along with other dignitaries from the Vishvas Foundation, were present on the occasion.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of Vishvas Foundation, stated that 60 donors registered to donate blood at the camp, but 5 were refused due to health issues. The team from Blood Bank AM Care Hospital, Zirakpur, under the supervision of Dr. Kartik Agarwal, collected 55 units of blood. Officials from HDFC Bank participated in the blood donation camp to encourage the donors, and Managing Director Mukesh Chauhan also donated blood in memory of his mother.
Mukesh Chauhan, Director, Media Mantraa PR & Advertising, explained that there is a misconception that donating blood causes weakness. Blood donation does not cause any weakness; in fact, everyone should donate blood once every 90 days. This helps those in need and maintains a healthy body. Donating blood is considered the greatest service. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the blood donors and their supporters.
All blood donors who attended the blood donation camp were encouraged with certificates and gifts.
