Calgary ( Rajeev Sharma): The Mango Festival (Mango Mahaprasad) will be celebrated on Sunday, May 31 at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Calgary, offering devotees and community members an opportunity to participate in a joyful and devotional tradition centered around offering ripe mangoes to the deities.

While talking to National Times Krishan Vidyadas told that devotees are invited to bring ripe mangoes as offerings to Sri Sri Radha Madhav and Srinathji at the temple. All offerings must be submitted on or before Saturday by 6:30 PM, allowing time for preparation of the sacred festival arrangements and rituals. Following the devotional ceremonies, mango Mahaprasad will be distributed to all attendees, symbolizing sharing, gratitude, and unity among the community. The celebration reflects the spirit of devotion and service that remains central to ISKCON’s teachings and practices.
The event is being organized under the guidance of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and the Radha Madhav Cultural Association, continuing their efforts to promote spiritual awareness, cultural values, and community engagement in Calgary.
