Chandigarh, March 4 – Kurukshetra University (KU) has announced the commencement of the online application process for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) annual exams scheduled for May-June 2025. The university’s examination branch has issued a notification stating that the IUMS portal will be open from March 5, 2025, for students to submit their exam forms and fees.
According to a university spokesperson, private candidates appearing for full papers, reappear, compartment, additional, improvement, and ex-student categories can apply through the online portal at www.iums.kuk.ac.in. The last date for submission without a late fee is April 4, 2025. After this date, students will be required to pay a late fee: ₹500 from April 5 to April 15, ₹1,000 from April 16 to April 25, ₹5,000 from April 26 to May 5, ₹10,000 from May 6 to May 15, and ₹12,000 from May 16 to May 20.
Distance education students who enrolled in UG/PG first-year full papers in July 2023 and need to reappear in the May-June 2025 exams can also apply through the IUMS portal under the reappear category. They must log in and complete their application following the same fee schedule as private candidates.
The university has clarified that private candidates submitting their exam forms after the examination has started will not be eligible for the subjects that have already been conducted. They will only be allowed to appear for the remaining subjects as per the official schedule. Students are advised to regularly check the university website for updates on the exam timetable.
For B.Ed. students, additional category exam forms and fees will not be accepted through the private mode. Candidates who have completed B.Ed. first year, second year, or passed through regular/distance modes and wish to apply under the additional category for the May-June 2025 session must submit their forms and fees through their affiliated colleges. Detailed instructions and schedules for this category will be announced later.
