National Times Bureau :- A gruesome incident has shocked Mysuru district, where a 20-year-old woman, identified as Rakshita, was brutally murdered by her lover in Gerasanahalli village, Hunsur taluk. According to police, the accused, identified as Siddharaju, allegedly stuffed explosives into the woman’s mouth during a heated argument at a lodge where they were staying, causing an explosion that killed her on the spot.
The victim, who was reportedly married, had been involved in an illicit relationship with the accused. Following the incident, Siddharaju attempted to mislead locals by claiming the woman died due to a mobile phone blast, but was apprehended by residents and handed over to the police. The Saligrama police have taken him into custody and initiated an investigation, suspecting that their illicit affair was the motive behind the murder, though the exact cause is still under investigation.
