National Times Bureau :- Jammu and Kashmir continues to reel under the impact of relentless rains, leaving large parts of the Jammu division waterlogged and severely affecting daily life. Several areas are witnessing flood-like conditions, creating major disruptions in transportation and posing challenges for residents.

In response to the deteriorating weather, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a complete closure of all government and private schools across Jammu division on Monday, August 25.
According to an official notification issued by the School Education Department, the decision was taken in view of the persistent heavy rainfall and waterlogging in multiple districts. Copies of the order have been sent to all concerned departments to ensure no academic or administrative activity takes place in the schools tomorrow.
