Calgary ( Rajeev Sharma ) : ISKCON Calgary and Shri Radha Madhav society has announced a vibrant two day spiritual celebration to welcome the New Year with devotion, music, and joy at the ISKCON Calgary Temple.
The festivities begin with the New Year’s Eve Kirtan Fest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 12:00 midnight. Devotees and visitors can look forward to an evening filled with ecstatic live kirtan, dancing till midnight, and performances by talented local kirtaniyas, including a special kirtan by HG Sanatana Dharma Das. The program will also feature volunteer appreciation, a drama by CVA Kids, and exquisite prasadam.
Adding a unique highlight to the evening, while speaking with National Times, Krishna Vidyadas from ISKCON Calgary shared that on December 31 a special prasadam featuring burgers and fries will be served in a Western-style offering, giving guests a joyful and welcoming way to celebrate the night.
He also described the event as “the coolest kirtan party in town,” offering a joyful and spiritual alternative to conventional New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The celebrations continue on Thursday, January 1, 2026, with a New Year Day Festival at the temple. Highlights include all-day divine darshan, sumptuous Krishna prasadam, joyful kirtan, and a grand aarti, creating a deeply auspicious start to the year.
