Chandigarh, January 27, 2026: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao on Tuesday said the state government is set to take a major step towards transparent and technology-driven healthcare governance with the launch of an integrated online portal for health professionals. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will formally inaugurate the portal on January 28.
The Health Minister said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to transparent, citizen-centric and technology-enabled administration. She noted that doctors and healthcare workers serve society with dedication, and it is the government’s responsibility to simplify administrative procedures so that professionals can focus on their core duties instead of paperwork.
Aarti Singh Rao said the portal will be implemented in a phased and inclusive manner. In the first phase, beginning January 28, 2026, it will cater to professionals associated with medical, dental, pharmacy, AYUSH and homoeopathy services. In the next phase, the platform will be extended to nursing and physiotherapy professionals. The objective, she said, is to create a unified digital platform for all healthcare professionals in Haryana.
She explained that the portal will introduce a completely paperless system. Medical graduates will no longer be required to send documents by post, as all applications and verification processes will be conducted online. This is expected to eliminate delays, reduce the risk of document loss, and minimise repeated follow-ups and unnecessary visits to government offices, offering particular relief to young doctors.
Through the portal, regulatory documents such as No Objection Certificates, Good Standing Certificates and registration certificates will be issued digitally. These documents will be sent directly to the registered email IDs of applicants and will be available for immediate download.
The Health Minister added that all certificates issued through the portal will be integrated with DigiLocker, ensuring secure digital storage, authenticity and ease of use across institutions. This integration will also remove the need for repeated uploads or submission of physical copies.
She further said that a mobile application for the portal will be launched in the near future, enabling doctors and healthcare professionals to access services anytime and from anywhere.
Outlining future plans, Aarti Singh Rao said the government intends to develop the portal into an AI-enabled system. An AI-based chatbot will be introduced to provide quick guidance and address common issues faced by healthcare professionals.
Describing the initiative as a modern model of paperless, transparent, secure and doctor-centric governance, the Health Minister said it aligns with the vision of Digital India and the goal of improving ease of professional work. She assured doctors and healthcare professionals that the platform has been designed keeping their convenience in mind and will be continuously improved based on their feedback.
She said the launch of the portal marks the beginning of a new phase in Haryana’s health administration, where technology will simplify processes and make governance more responsive.
