Rana, a native of Karnal, showcased nerves of steel in a tense final, posting an impressive score of 243.7 to edge out China’s Hu Kai, who claimed silver with 243.3 points.
India celebrated a double podium finish as Varun Tomar from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, secured the bronze medal with a score of 221.7. The final witnessed a thrilling exchange of leads among the top three shooters before Rana sealed the victory with clinical precision in the closing rounds.
