“India Jaan Chukka Hai”: Yuzvendra Chahal Breaks Silence on RJ Mahvash Rumours on Kapil Sharma Show

Mumbai, July 8, 2025 — Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has finally spoken out about persistent rumours linking him romantically with radio jockey and influencer RJ Mahvash, during his recent appearance on “The Great Indian Kapil Show” streaming on Netflix.

While both Chahal and Mahvash have repeatedly insisted they are “just friends,” their frequent public appearances together and social media exchanges have fuelled ongoing speculation about a possible relationship.

Appearing alongside fellow cricketers Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir, and Abhishek Sharma, Chahal was quizzed by host Kapil Sharma about the “mystery girl” in his life. With a knowing smile, Chahal replied, “India jaan chukka hai (India already knows),” leaving the audience in splits.

Adding to the banter, Pant chimed in, joking, “Free hai na ab thode se yeh,” alluding to Chahal’s personal life after his recent divorce from choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma, which was finalised on March 20, 2025.

The comedic jibes didn’t stop there. Comedian Krushna Abhishek, dressed in a woman’s attire, sat next to Chahal and humorously referred to him as “Juicy Chahal,” quipping, “Bahut juicy hai (He’s very juicy).” He also teased the leg-spinner about his Instagram posts with RJ Mahvash, saying, “Darrte toh nahi zyada (You don’t seem too scared),” hinting at their close rapport online.

Kiku Sharda further spiced up the segment by pretending to discover a lipstick stain on Chahal’s white shirt. He theatrically asked, “Yeh kya chal raha hai? Poora India jaanna chahta hai? (What’s going on? The whole country wants to know),” prompting Chahal to repeat his cryptic reply: “India jaan chukka hai.”

The exchange, filled with laughter and playful teasing, has only added fuel to the curiosity about Chahal’s relationship status, even as he and Mahvash continue to maintain their stance of friendship.
