India Beat Pakistan by Six Wickets in High-Voltage Clash

Dubai (Rajeev Sharma): India outclassed Pakistan in a thrilling Super Four encounter today, chasing down 172 with seven balls to spare. Riding on a blazing knock from opener A. Sharma, who hammered 74 off just 39 balls with six fours and five sixes, India secured a six-wicket victory to strengthen their position in the tournament.

Sharma’s explosive batting set the tone for the chase, while S. Gill provided solid support with a fluent 47 off 28 deliveries, striking eight boundaries. Though captain S. Yadav fell cheaply without scoring, T. Varma steadied the innings with a composed 30 off 19 balls. S. Samson chipped in with 13 runs before being dismissed, and H. Pandya ensured India crossed the line with an unbeaten seven.

Earlier, Pakistan posted 171 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Despite the competitive target, India’s aggressive approach ensured the chase was never out of control. Sharma’s fireworks at the top made all the difference, earning him the spotlight in the high-pressure clash.
