India Asserts Military Readiness Following Successful Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, May 12, 2025: In a strong message of deterrence, Air Marshal AK Bharti declared that India is fully prepared for any future missions, with all military bases and systems on high alert. The announcement came during a joint press conference with top military officials, including Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, Major General SS Sharda, and Vice Admiral AN Pramod.

This statement followed the Indian Armed Forces’ coordinated offensive dubbed Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack. The Indian Air Force (IAF) played a pivotal role, carrying out precision airstrikes on terrorist training camps in Bahawalpur and Muridke, Pakistan. Using advanced air-to-surface guided munitions, the IAF ensured high-impact engagement with minimal collateral damage.

In a simultaneous move, the IAF targeted 11 key Pakistani airbases, including Nur Khan, Sargodha, and Skardu. These strikes caused extensive damage to Pakistan’s drone and fighter aircraft infrastructure, aiming to paralyze its strategic capabilities.

In a significant policy shift, India declared that any future act of terror will now be considered an act of war. This signals a new doctrine of decisive retaliation, reflecting the nation’s growing intolerance for cross-border terrorism and its resolve to uphold regional security.

As part of its future strategy, the Indian Armed Forces are enhancing their defense capabilities. The IAF is actively deploying Rafale fighter jets armed with SCALP missiles and HAMMER bombs. Meanwhile, indigenous advancements like the HAL Tejas Mark 1A and the Combat Air Teaming System (CATS) are strengthening India’s self-reliance and combat readiness.

With these developments, India has sent a clear message: the nation stands armed, vigilant, and resolute in the face of any threat.
