National Times Bureau :- In a significant development in Jalandhar’s political scene, the Punjab Government has removed Rajwinder Kaur Thiara from her post as Chairperson of the Improvement Trust. This move marks the first time in recent memory that a sitting chairperson has been replaced within just six months of appointment.
Rajwinder Kaur has now been replaced by Ramneek Singh Lucky Randhawa, who has officially been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Jalandhar Improvement Trust. The sudden change has drawn attention, especially given its timing and the short tenure of the outgoing chairperson.
The government has not yet provided an official reason for the swift replacement, but political analysts suggest it may be linked to internal restructuring or performance-based decisions.
