Calgary (Rajeev Sharna)) : The International Hindu Foundation (IHF), with strong community support, is set to commemorate the third anniversary of the historic Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya by organizing Shri Ramotsav 2026, a grand spiritual and cultural celebration in Calgary on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Magnolia Banquet Hall, 5075 Falconridge Blvd NE.

The official poster of Shri Ramotsav 2026 was formally released during a community interaction by Sonia Joshi of the International Hindu Foundation, along with her dedicated IHF team and other respected community dignitaries. During the poster release, detailed information about the event was shared with the community.
Addressing the gathering, Sonia Joshi expressed her sincere gratitude to all prestigious sponsors and the committed team of volunteers, whose continuous support has made it possible to organize this third consecutive Shri Ramotsav celebration in Calgary. She emphasized that collective community efforts are the backbone of such large-scale spiritual events.
It was also announced that National Times will be the Official Media Partner for Shri Ramotsav 2026, ensuring wide coverage and outreach across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
Adding to the spiritual significance of the evening, ISKCON Calgary will present a special devotional kirtan, joined by Calgary based singers, who will render soulful bhajans and kirtan devotional songs in praise of Lord Shri Ram. The organizers noted that the kirtan performances will be a central highlight of the celebration, immersing devotees in an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual harmony.
