Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): The spirit of sportsmanship and cultural unity will be on full display at the ICICG Independence Cup 2025, taking place on August 9–10 at 3688 48 Ave NE, Calgary.
The two-day cricket tournament and community gathering will feature 14 vibrant Indian communities, offering spectators thrilling matches along with free chai, samosas, and biryani. Participating teams include: Gujarati Mandal (GMC), Rajasthan Royals (RANA), Calgary Marathi Association, Karnataka Flames, TAC (Telugu Association of Calgary), Kalinga Warriors, Delhi Lions, Telangana Chargers, Kerala Blasters, APCAA (Bengali), Bihari Association of Alberta, Tamil Nadu Cricket Club, UP Wolverines (Uttar Pradesh), and Uttarakhand (UK).
