Haryana’s 2025-26 Budget to Incorporate Key Suggestions from Ministers and MLAs – Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, March 4 – The two-day pre-budget consultation meeting, chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, concluded today in Panchkula. The event brought together ministers, MLAs, and administrative officials to discuss and contribute valuable insights for the 2025-26 state budget. The consultation aimed at shaping an inclusive budget to benefit all citizens.

As the Finance Minister as well, CM Saini expressed gratitude to all participants for their suggestions, assuring that each recommendation would be carefully considered. He emphasized that the upcoming budget would align with the state’s ongoing growth and development initiatives.

The Chief Minister encouraged MLAs to submit their recommendations in writing, ensuring that critical proposals are effectively incorporated to enhance the state’s continuous progress. He reiterated the government’s commitment to delivering a budget that meets public aspirations and needs.

During the meeting, discussions centered on infrastructure development, sports facilities, water supply, power, transport, industrial growth, digitization of government services, cybercrime prevention, housing for officials, traffic management, and the rehabilitation of drug addicts.

To make the budget more representative of public expectations, the Haryana government held multiple consultations with different stakeholders, including:

Industry and manufacturing leaders in Gurugram

Farmers and agricultural scientists in Hisar

Youth and startup entrepreneurs in Kurukshetra

Women entrepreneurs in Panchkula

Textile industry representatives in Panipat

Manufacturing stakeholders in Faridabad



Additionally, the state launched an online portal for public participation, receiving over 10,000 suggestions so far.

Prominent attendees included Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary to the CM Rajesh Khullar, along with various ministers, MLAs, and senior officials.
