Chandigarh, January 27, 2026: The Haryana government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and one Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer with immediate effect, marking a significant administrative reshuffle.
Sudhir Rajpal, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education and Research, AYUSH, and Environment, Forest and Wildlife departments, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of the Home, Prisons, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Department. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the Environment, Forest and Wildlife Department.
Dr Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary of the Home, Prisons, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Department, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments. She has also been appointed Financial Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education and Research, and AYUSH departments.
Arun Kumar Gupta, who was serving as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department, and Member Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board, has been appointed Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister along with the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Department.
Saket Kumar, currently Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner and Secretary of the Development and Panchayats Department, and Managing Director of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department and Member Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board.
Ram Kumar Singh, Special Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, District Municipal Commissioner, Panchkula, and Commissioner of Panchkula Municipal Corporation, has been appointed Special Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department with additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.
IRPS officer Vinay Kumar, who was serving as Joint Secretary of the Haryana Public Service Commission and Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, has been appointed Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, District Municipal Commissioner, Panchkula, and Special Officer of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
