Haryana Invites Online Applications for Post-Matric Scholarship and PM-YASASVI Component-II for 2025–26

Chandigarh, January 6, 2026 — The Haryana government has invited online applications under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste students and the PM-YASASVI Component-II scheme for students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and De-notified Tribes for the academic session 2025–26.
Sharing details, a spokesperson of the Haryana Department of Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Antyodaya said that applicants under the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS-SC) must belong to the Scheduled Caste category, while beneficiaries under PM-YASASVI Component-II should be from the OBC or De-notified Tribe categories.
To be eligible for either scheme, the annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ₹2.50 lakh, and the student must be a domicile of Haryana.
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship benefits for the academic session 2025–26 through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in. The last date for submitting applications is February 28, 2028.
